Intellectual Security in the Abbasid Era and the Role of Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) in Preserving it

Abstract

The issue of intellectual security has become one of the most important priorities of Imam Jaafar al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, d (148 AH / 765 AD) This stage was characterized by the invasion of different civilizations with philosophies and theories that differ with the Islamic theory, as it existed among the components of society, benefiting from the openness of the Abbasid authority over the non-Arab elements. Exaggeration in the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and making them above the level of humans and giving them the attributes of gods, so Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) had only to work hard to correct the aspects of deviation that occurred in the life of the nation so as not to affect the stability and foundation of its intellectual security
